Stamina 1350 Magnetic Resistance Recumbent Bike Reviews:
If you are looking for a bike that is priced well and don't want to pay the high prices for a gym membership, the Stamina 1350 recumbent bike is worth taking a look at. Nothing is perfect, and neither is this bike, but there were definitely more positive reviews on Amazon than negative ones. Most people stated that it is fairly straightforward and easy to assemble, but one reviewer mentioned that if you have your own tools, use them as it is a lot easier than using the tools that are provided.
Use a Philips-head screwdriver with a medium point, and if you have a set of ratchets, the bolts require a 10mm and a 14mm size. Nearly everyone loves how quiet the bike is, but a few people also stated that the seat isn't as comfortable as it should be, especially for longer sessions on the bike.
There were a few reviewers who were displeased with this bike though. One in particular purchased the unit but it stopped working after only two weeks, and they have had a very bad time dealing with customer service. Basically they feel the customer support is non existent. In the end it came down to the fact that the pulleys had been welded incorrectly.
A few other customers feel that it is a bit on the flimsy side with a few pieces such as the seat and handles that rattle. A different reviewer also had a screw at the end of the magnetic cord snap in half. The bike still works however, but there is simply no resistance any more. But the bike is light enough that it can be moved nearly anywhere you want, and it's small enough to fit in spaces where it won't be noticed.
Many reviewers though have been quite happy after purchasing this exercise bike, feeling that it delivers a great value for the price. It isn't a sophisticated model like you might find in the gym, but it might just make a good substitute if you don't plan on joining a gym. Most however, feel that it is well built and very solid after being properly assembled, and it is an all around good product.
